SKODA GREEN DVD Player+NAVI+Bluetooth+DVB-T+IPOD+RDS on eBay (end time 26-Oct-09 20:40:34 GMT)

About half way down the page it lists all the vehicles it fits and allegedly works in without any alteration

I'd personally be put off by the mass of wiring shown in the picture.

The beauty of an MFD3 is that it is literally plug and play - no additional wiring looms etc.

Mine now it has the 2664 firmware loaded will take 32Gb SD cards (it may take higher, but the relative price of the card gets prohibitive above 32Gb) so I've no need to use my ipod. The times when I'm stationary in the car long enough to play a video can be counted on the fingers of one hand, so there's no problem there.

Then there's the additional risk of whether or not it totally integrates with the car, and doesn't put a constant drain on the battery.

Until I could be satisfied on all the above points, I personally would steer clear of 3rd party units.

I think it looks fantastic. I say buy it skippy. I've got a good feeling about this one.

Now all that I would like is a map that shows all the street names even when not in navigation mode, just like my tom tom does

Oh and bluetooth of course

if I do manage to get a bluetooth system to install how does it work with the MFD2 do you just press the phone button to receive a call?? please let me know if it puts up caller name or the number of who is calling

I have my trusty nokia 6310i still in full working order after 12 years

I use mine for my taxi work every day, its still on its original battery:eek:

and when fully charged lasts for around 5 days depending on use

Its been dropped countless times.

It has even been dropped into a lake while fishing more than once,:eek::eek: just stuck it onto the radiator at home next morning its working

anyway back to the question how does the MFD work with bluetooth

Sorry, its just a very rare thing to see a phone last that long these days, I wasn't havin' a snipe.......just a bit of craic !! Anyway, I can't answer your question, so best of luck in finding a solution.
