When did Sport suspension become standard on the Fabia Sport and how do you make sure it has it. I know that the standard suspension is a bit soft for me but I'm not expert enough to tell if the car I'm driving has Sport suspension or just perhaps over inflated tyres!

IIRC there is not much difference between 'standard' and 'Sport' - the Sport is just a little bit lower. I think the spring rates and ARB are the same (or at least very similar) and the damping feels the same. Best to get a ride-height measurement from a dealer and then check it with a tape measure.

can you feel much difference with the 15mm lowered suspension? ride and handling wise.

are the dampers the same as standard?

Having driven both a Sport and a standard 1.9TDI I couldn't detect any significant different between them, so I think the settings must be the same, or very similar. The ride in the Sport was a maybe a fraction more 'knobbly'.

Putting a rear ARB on the standard Fabia made a significant different to the handling, far more apparent than the 'Sport' spec suspension.

For me one of the reasons why i brought my Fabia 2 was for the smooth ride, i think this is one of the chief plus points of the car.
