I own a O2 1.6 tdi Estate since last september. My former car, a VW Passat 1.9 atmospheric diesel, was getting old and tired. It had done over 250.000 miles in 17 years, and still was doing the job.

The decision to buy a Skoda dates from some years ago, only the Passat refused to break down. That allowed me to wait for the 1.6 tdi cr.

Some of my friends are reluctant, because they consider the change from VW to Skoda as a step down. Once I take them for a ride, they admit they were wrong: this is a fine car indeed.

I hope the new car will be as reliable as the old one! The torque has impressed me a lot, and it needs less fuel. All the goodies in the car keep on surprising me: automatic aircon, cruise control, ... all those buttons! You will recognize me easily: a huge smile is on my face as I drive the car...

You may have noticed I'm from Belgium. From time to time, my English will not be perfect. Sorry for that!
