vrs seat covers ?

Featured Replies

Options are fabric type, ie breathable or normal and colour options

I hope this means that they are tailored "normal" covers - the standard hatchbag seat is superb quality and ceratinly does the job it's supposed to do, but I'm not sure if it's what were looking for - eg -

Amazing how that photograph seems to require a 90 degree turn isn't it :D (fab hatchback piccie, that is)

Any chance of getting the actual product image? Perhaps post-fitting in your car?

Cheers :D

I would be interested too. The hatchbag range seem way too baggy - more like a throw for a sofa. I also wonder if they are slippy. I would be looking for something very close-fitting - more like re-upholstery. Are there such covers available?

Hi Mike - yep for me a re-upholstery using darker materials, possibly with the vRS logo but frankly I couldn't care less about that if it makes it more expensive :D

I just know for a fact the car will be marked sooner rather than later with the light colours. It looks great and the Mrs did eventually agree with it, but it nearly meant not being able to get 'approval' ;)

Another annoying thing is that the side-airbags really impact on your options, and I do want a good quality recover :)

According to my catalog, side airbags are an option on the VRS. My current Elegance (2002) has them as standard.

If I could, I would find someone buying the Skoda Sport and do a straight swap of all the seats. Not only is the fabric dark, but the cloth on the middle of the seat is better. But will anyone be buying a Sport?

Okay seat covers are as good as ready...a final testing for the octavia vRS this week' date=' remembering these are tailored to the cars seats and not a generic bag cover.

We have secured a discount for orders via BRISKODA. The exact details we need to work out for legal resons and this is half the delay, selling a service and goods are different matters, sadly these are goods and as such we need protection. So in the short term we need to generate interest and decide how to handle, ie via BRISKODA or straight to hatchbag...

Exact pricing and options to follow shortly but as a rough guide

Pricing will be from 45pounds for the front covers Fabia vRS and Octaiva vRS or normal trim.

Options are fabric type, ie breathable or normal and colour options.

Side Airbag tear strip ~ lets your airbag do it's thing.

Rear covers are a little easier they will be circa 69 pounds for Octy and Fabia and fit like a glove coming in two or three headrest combinations for the 60/40 seats.[/quote']

Colin,

Is there any more progress on these? Can we now order the Octy front seat covers? And have you got any piccies?

Thanks :)

Mine will have side airbags - Furby vRS - it would be nice to get some pics of the finished article, as the ones on the site would instantly make me NOT want to buy them :D

Desperate for more info, Colin will this be finalised soon as a GB or do we just go direct to Hatchbag

Still waiting for some fitted pics :( - giving up on this pretty much as this has been going for ages now. I might even end up with the car before I finally get to see some...

I'll probably have sold mine by that time ;)

I can only apologise...they are ready to go yes...best bet is contact hatchbag direct at this immediate point in time.

You should get a discount, mention BRISKODA.

They will batch the orders to make it effective on the cutting and machining so I'd suggest getting 5 together and go from there.

Sorry for the delays...to kick the ball off

I need 1 set front Octy vRS + airbag + breathable in black.

I have dropped hatchbag an email to reclarify our position and deal, more soon...sorry again.

As mentioned above, we really need to see fitted pics, the others dont look too good to me :( Thanks for the info Colin

Same here - no way without SEEING the product. I know I can get something decent if I spend a large sum of cash, but I prefer to spend a reasonable amount with a company where this site gets some benefit too (and I can afford it hehe).

It's not totally urgent for me as yet due to not having my car right now anyway, just been asking for the pics for a while now ;)

Bump - any luck, another month has gone by and my Furby is due this Saturday 19th March 0930

Who sells the vrs seat covers, i believe there is a company that is producing them now?

Got some pics from a octyvrs, will upload later tonight.

I have to admit it's not the fatest of responses. But no email or calls have been returned...half tempted to say they are 50% discount, it might make them call me :)

Pics later.

Doesn't fill me with confidence unfortunately - no feedback of any kind, no pictures, emailed them several times as well :(

Looking forward to the pics :D
