Featured Replies

recently my brother has got himself a large motorcycle,a kawasaki zzr1100 or 1300(can't remember which one)and its meant to be quite quick, now and i know this may come as a bit of a suprise to some of the leather wearing bike fraternity on hear but i am tempted, its been a while since i last rode a motorcycle but seeing my bro on one has got all that sybling rivalry going on again:D and i quite fancy one of those big aprillia things,my question is would i beat his kawasaki in a race on one? And if not what do i need to buy so i can?

FTW:thumbup:

Gary, that will be the ZZR1100 as they never made a 1300.

If you want to go faster in a straight line and around corners, get a Busa :)

Christ I looked up the 0-60 on the ZZR1100, it's 3 seconds! That'd turn my stomach if I was on that.

I doubt it :)

The trouble is, the more power you have, the more you want :)

i never have been too hot on bikes:D i was thinking more about when we go to the ring next year what would i need to whup his but round there? i beleive his bike isn't really a sports bike but more of a tourer,so if thats the case i should be able to get a true sports bike and annihalate him:cool:

One of these should see him off

That might be little bit too expensive Steve

Gary, you could have the best bike in the world, but could you ride it :D

where you planning on racing him , on a bypass you need a busa and to be honest , thats not till about 170 .

on a twisty lane , you need a 250 2 stroke or maybe an r6

gixxer 100 is a good bet , but the zzr held the title of worlds fastest bike for a long time , they just dont do corners that well relatively.

if you haven't rode for a good while , dont new stuff is so fast now , you will die deffo

If it's good enough for Rossi, then it's good enough for Gary :D

Gary, you're gonna die mate. Just take the Golf to the 'ring and whoop his *** in that, it won't be hard. I overtook many many bikes in the S2 and that's a real lard ****.

Unless your already pretty 'handy' on a bike, then i wouldnt attempt the 'ring.

Totally different ball game on a bike.

Plus, to comment on the 0-60 times of the bikes.....you need to know what your doing and have the balls to do the times quoted:thumbup:

I'm sure (read as HOPE) you already appreciate that you cant just get a bike license, jump on a bike and then go fast. Theres alot more to it than that.;)

Other than that, if your sensible enough, then 'biking' is a totally different, and for me, better world than cars.
