dust on display panel after dealer repair

Featured Replies

hi - i took my octavia II into dealer to stop a ticking noise. the dash had to be removed. there now appears to be dust on the computer display under the glass. Its not too bad - but is noticable when sunlight shines on it. Am i being too finicky to expect the dash to have been removed and replaced without getting dust underneath?

would anyone else be bothered or is it just me ?

No you're not, I'd be the same. garages have a bad habit of fixing one fault, only to cause another, or leave surrounding stuff damaged etc. due to incompetence. Take it back and make them put it right.

I'd be the same. A good repair job is one that you don't notice has been repaired.
