Oach 4 year service

Featured Replies

Found out today my garagae has closed Saunders Abbot Bexhill, had last service variable last October. Now done 37000, its the2.0 140 dsg Elegance so guys what sort of price for the service do you know of?.

Shop around your area, you will most probably get it serviced far cheaper than a dealer, as long as they are VAT reg your covered

Just be aware that the 4 year service is a biggie and includes quiet a lot of parts which are not replaced at the 2yr one. Also if your care is now 4 years old the cambelt is now also due to be changed as its 4yrs/80K miles whichever occurs first.

Manny, can I ask what these parts are that are replaced at the 4 year service? I had mine done recently at an independant and want to make sure all things were done.

Thanks

I'll see if I can dig out the invoice.

So does £900 reduced to £668 sound right for the 4 year service?.

I was quoted £830 for 4year service inc Brake Fluid, Cam Belt change, DSG Oil Change and MOT.

Was lowest of several main dealers I tried. Have heard that Seat dealers may be cheaper so will call them when mines due.

I'll see if I can dig out the invoice.

Any luck with this info yet Manny?

Also remember, only dealers or someone with vagcom can reset the service indicator to variable intervals.

And, if non dealer, that they use longlife oil if sticking with variable.
