well once i find a job ill be doing stealth mods, keep it looking standard but suspension and engine wise will be a different matter.

Nice looking car mate.

I'll give you a fiver to do mine :P

Cracking Job there

Well worth the hard work... I do wish a had somewhere to wash & dry my car, Cleaning/polishing would be so much easier instead of dodging the rain Drops.... A nice big Car port :D

Pretty good results, especially considering silver is one of the hardest colours to get shiny!

How did you find the Megs clay? I have heard mixed reviews so far.....

IMO the Super Resin Polish is very good, but is a 'filler' polish and better results *can* be had using other products, such as Poorboys. I have never used or heard read any reviews on the TW wax so can't comment, but with Poorboys Polish and Nattys Paste Wax (around £10 per pot, has lasted me two years!) I've got some pretty good results:

SRP is very good for the money, i got a litre for £10 on ebay and the fact it fills in swirls is great as my mum has a black focus. Turtle wax is pretty rubbish tbh, it doesnt last long but again its very cheap. and i find it gives off better relection than the megs wax i have.

but i am saving up for some dodo juice, either soft or hard havent decided which yet.

the meg i find is good. it gets rid of tar spots quite easly and it does work if you just use water as a lube. but i havent tryed any other clays.

Never had an issue with Megs clay...ever. Where did you see the mixed reviews?

Although I've started to use the Bilt Hamber clay range now, which I'm impressed with. You can also use it with water as a lubricant, which is a bonus over the Megs, where you have to use QD or LT.

Steve

@Wardy - over at 206info, my previous forum.

It wasn't that the clay was bad, more that it was very expensive and you only got half the weight of other clays (like Poorboys).
