Sorry for what is a stupid question

Featured Replies

I've just ordered an Octavia Elegance Estate and added the Bluetooth/Radio/Maxidot control steering wheel option.

Can I now just connect my Windows Mobile, phone directly to the Stereo system in the car without the need for any more equipment or fitting, and can I control it directly from the steering wheel ?

Like I said sorry if its a stupid question, but I am used to things never being as simple and straightforward as they seem regarding cars and handsfree technology and having to go out and buy loads of different adaptors and other fitments in order to get them to work.

Did you order the MFSW FOR bt/radio or did you add the Bluetooth option itself?

All I ordered was the MFSW for radio, Bluetooth and Maxidot. I haven't added anything else.

I would check the spec of your car, I don't think BT is standard on that model.

He ordered the option ;)

I read it he ordered the MFSW for those options. There were some on here that have the phone button that does'nt do anything cos they don't have BT. Hence me suggesting he checks.
