Octavia Bluetooth Compatibility

Featured Replies

Hi

I know this has been raised in other threads but here is my specific request

I've just today taken hold of my new facelifted Octavia with the built-in bluetooth

Was really excited by that feature which is why i added the maxidot thing in order to get the bluetooth with it

My normal phone is the Google Android G1 (T MObile) however whilst that is in repair I have the Sony Ericsson K850i

Now another thread suggests that this should work, yet i get a message on the console stating that the phone is incompatible

Does anyone else have this?

In addition I'm keen to find out whether the G1 really does work with it? If so I'll be very ecstatic otherwise I'll consider it a complete waste of upgrade (£250 I think)

Many thanks, D

Phones need to support RSAP (Remote Sim Access Protocol) and as far as I'm aware neither the G1 or K850i support this. Sorry.

Thanks for the info. If RSAP is software and not hardware dependant then perhaps the Android community will come up with an application for this!
