a 1.6 CR estate?, on the scrappage

Featured Replies

Currently strongly considering trading my beloved 1998 , 208,000mile TDI GalaxyB_thumb.gif in again a 1.6 diesel Octavia(prob estate) On the Scrappage scheme

Not happy about the DPF but driving should be mixed enough to cope.

The mpg and low tax are tempting, over 10 or 12 years

Though I might consider an ould 1.9diesel (sigh, because its what i'm used too)

Our other vehicle is an automatic diesel Steyr Puch Vanbiggrin.gif

(& Yes, I know I listed the Steyr Puch in my profile , but its really the wifes, PS the dogs like it too, particularly the armrests:eek:)

Ps

tother contender would be a Kia Ceed Sw:P

Thanks Phil

It was the Greenline we were considering, I had merely observed that it had only recently been incl in the £3500 offer, wheras previousley it was not, which was why the 1.9 lump was being considered.

Mind £300 will put the Galaxy through the test and she is 100% engine wise, though getting scruffy otherwise.

Cheers

M

I couldn't resist the £3,500 offer so went for the 1.9TDI. I'm trading in a 15 old Escort that's only done 25K miles (it was an ex-mobility car with only 6K on it when we got it 2 years ago!)
