Hi everyone, was just wondering if anyone could help or shed some light on what might be wrong with my car...

When i turn at slow speeds the steering seems to make a noise, the only way i can think to describe it is a grinding sound but not if u get me? :confused: its not quite grinding but more like a spring or something catching or something...anyway, i've had a good look around the car and suspension and stuff and can't seem to indentify anything.

I've read on here that the power steering motors seem to go on these things alot but symptoms of this seem to be flickering headlights and such, which mine isn't experiencing.

also it seems to be making the noise alot more when turning the wheel to the left and hardly noticeable when turning to the right. I appreciate that this is hard to diagnose without hearing the car for yourself etc but any help or advice as to what it might be would be greatly appreciated.

If you have lowered suspension it will be the ARB droplinks clonking away and the fix is well documented on the site. Otherwise it's a full front suspension check especially the bushes.

cheers pal, just to note aswel that the car is sat on totally standard suspension...not lowered or messed with in any way...

could just be the suspension springs moving on the shocker platform
