Holy FOOOKKK!!!!:eek::eek::eek:

What are the official figures on that then??????

Not much torque at the top end though:D

Not much torque at the top end though:D

Assume this is a joke? 239lb.ft at the limiter, thats 10lb.ft over the standard car would peak at isnt alot ;)

What work has been carried out for these figures? Im not going to start flaming like most would do that the figures, not without knowing facts anyway :D lol

Nah kidding, bet it shifts... time to get it to some 1/4 days ;)

Assume this is a joke?

That's what :D generally signifies.

The only thing I can see different to the usual run of the mill hybrid is the "larger air mass sensor" & possible manifold perhaps anyone from Jabba could explain how these figures are made? Id be interested in the extra power for example :D

Top stuff either way, glad your pleased with the results mate :)

That dyno graph look nice

The spec looks expensive

Sparky, this isn't a hybrid pd150 etc etc its a garrett gt25 based turbo unit with our cast exhaust manifold etc.

We use a larger maf sensor because this turbo draws in air past the limit of the standard sensor, so a larger tube and map scaling is required.

Im just about to sort a video out for you...

Kev

:)

Thanks for the heads up, so does this mean its using more than 2BAR worth of boost (3bar map sensor)

So the extra power comes from more boost, better manifold and bigger turbo? I have a water meth kit, but I aint running 275bhp! ggrr!

Jabba, how much NOS would you say on top of the spec Warwick has would be safe? BHP wise? I was gunning for 350bhp.... LOL

warwick i can see youre from tyneside. hope i see you out once all is done. would love to see this in the flesh

From what I have heard on TDIclub these big vnt22/vnt25 turbos don't need big boost to make big power. :) I'm looking forward to seeing what my vnt22 does for my car as from what I can tell they're pretty much indestructable.

Garaged over the winter? That's not the spirit! Daily driver all the way.

isnt there a whole lot of lag though with a bigger turbo?

Not with good mapping ;) Should only get slightly more, but then driven properly, you wouldn't notice.
