Just had apoke around this evenin to check everything looked ok when i saw this, im not sure if the pipes are comming apart or if its normal as i cant say ive noticed it before. I understand these pipes comming off is common.I would have thought the pipe should sit over the lip? It appears thats how the bottom of the pipe is fitted but the top looks like its partly off.

If this isnt right, will it just push back together or do i need something new?

Whats the best way to access it?

all you can do is see if it will push on any further, thats if you can access the pipe without stripping half the car apart
