Have you any answers why the LED top brake light glows all the time when the car is going and locked ?

I have been informed it may be due to damp,but I have checked the underside carpet and all is dry.

I had a dedicated tow bar loom fitted last month and are not sure if that is the cause.

It went off for a while last week (a few hours),but decided to return:mad:

Could well be the brake light switch (behind the pedal) that's gone...

Hi there your problem should be the brake light switch which are only about 7.63=vat from tps vw parts very easy to fit to.

Is the glowplug light permanently on? If so, then for sure it's the brakelight switch.

I Have the same problems happen to me today filled the car up with diesel left the garage and noticed the glowplug light flashing constantly, no brakelights what so ever.

Is the brakelight switch located just above the brake pedal ?

Yes; you'll need a new one, and there's a modified part, but I can't remember the number.
