Facelift Interior Light

Featured Replies

Rumour has it that the interior light clustor on a facelift Octy has illuminated switches. Can andybody confirm if this is the case?

I'm considering adding ambient lighting to the roof mounted unit al la Audi / W8 and one of the things that winds me up about the Octy is that the buttons are not backlit. Also it would make adding ambinet LEDS a bit easier........

If this IS the case, next question is does anybody have a part number for a black one for my VRS?!!

Cheers

Watching with interest....

Anybody got an answert to this one? Hey, even if you don't have the part number, does the roof mounted light unit have backlighting? ;)

I'm afraid the rumour mill isn't correct as my vRS doesn't have them

Nor my Elegance, or not that I've noticed and I think I would have. Maybe the L&K's are graced with it.

Nope, not on my FL. Fumbling for the map light in the dark is an awkward experience.:thumbdwn:

Another infuriating oversight by Skoda to add to the silly nonsense of missing spare wheels, underbonnet soundproofing, steering wheel mounted audio controls, damped grab handles,..........

OK, is there ANY model in the VW range with a black roof unit and backlighting?!

GTI & R32 & Scirocco all have black with back lighting
