DARLINGTON rally driver Guy Wilks DARLINGTON rally driver Guy Wilks has been confirmed as winner of IRC Rally Scotland following Kris Meeke's exclusion. Wilks was promoted from second to first after the front subframe on Meeke's Peugeot 207 was found to be underweight. It means Wilks and co-driver Phil Pugh have scored their maiden Intercontinental Rally Challenge win - on their debut in the Skoda UK-backed Fabia Super 2000. Rob Hazelwood, Director of Skoda UK, said: "It's strange to find out that we won the rally nearly five days after the event finished. "However, we're delighted that the record books will show that Guy won the inaugural Rally of Scotland on his first drive in the Skoda Fabia Super 2000 rally car." http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/spo..._rally_winner/ __________________ YELLOW SKIP WITH WHEELS!!
