Easy areas to lose weight

Wow - Forgotten I started this thread.  I have since removed carpets, cleaned them, and then refitted minus the sound proofing.  That saved a couple of kg I think :D

ALso, since November last year, I've been trying to watch my weight and actually use my gym membership....  Lose about a stone, and I don't think I will find 6.5kg in the car to lose like that :D

Carpet out - this is the bit I chucked!

What about the black stuff that covers the floor pan. Its sound proofing i think. You've gotten rid of the underlay so may aswell take that up aswell.

+1 for this stuff, I removed 12kg from the Golf floor, heat gun and a scraper then wipe the residue away with white spirit and a few cloths

there is around 7kg or so of it on a fabia floorpan, plus a load inside the door skins etc, nothing easliy gotten from behind the dash and the ac unit in the heater box is pretty well hidden in there.

lots of little bits to go at tho.

I actually stole this idea off Felicia16v after i asked what it was and he told me, also told me how much it weighed.

Fill the car with helium balloons.

Inflate the air bags
