Seems Silverstone have managed to pull off a 17 year deal to host the British F1 GP. Bernie doesn’t half make them jump through hoops though.

They might have had to jump through hoops, but at least a 17 year deal will make it easier for them to raise the funds needed to develop the facilities.

The downside is that other UK tracks won't get the opportunity to host an F1 event.

I am happy it’s Silverstone that has been saved as there are a lot of F1 firms associated with Silverstone and this will give them a little bit of financial stability.
