One of my outstanding issues with the dealer is that when I have the caravan on the factory fit towbar, there is no audible warning whe using indicators.

Another thread seems to say that this is not fitted, as the factory fit electrics include bulb failure indication for the trailer as well.

Could a nyone confirm this, please?

Must admit I was worried when I had the caravan connected that there was no warning indicator or bleeper for the towing lights, so I did a test and hooked up the caravan and simulated some blown bulbs by taking them out of the rear lights on the van, the car shows the bulb failure indicator lamp within the dash when one of the main bulbs was disconnected, it didn't show anything wrong when one of the smaller bulbs was taken out ( eg number plate ) hope that confirms things. cheers - Stuart.
