First post after spending considerable weeks enjoying reading the other posts

Found out lots of tips & tricks I never knew about.

Could someone please explain to me how the glow plug relay comes out ( Felicia 1.9D ).

Does it just pull out like other relays, or is it held in by a clip ?

The car wouldn't start the other day because the glow plugs weren't being activated. Checked for power, nothing & then tried to remove the relay but it wouldn't budge.

This must have shifted something, because it started working again.

I've since tried to pull out the relay on my other car, but this stuck just the same :S

So if there's a trick to getting these relays out, without wrecking it, could someone please tell me what it is.

You're talking the one under the bonnet with the little fuse holder?

It just comes straight out - just taken it out on my Mum's car to check; it's just a standard relay, timing is controlled by the ECU. It's possible that you trying to move it has sorted the connection out.

Yes, it's the one under the bonnet under a large plastic cover.

It also houses the ECU & two fuses ( 50amp & 5amp ). It has "104" printed on the top.
