Frost this Morning on the car

Hey Folks.

Just a quick one. Noticed the frost on the roof of Nelly this morning so grabbed my trusty Panasonic Lumix TZ5 work camera out my bag and snapped a couple of shots:

Let's just say it definately warranted the heated seat this morning!

We're pretty sheltered in the vale of York but think this that lead to cold clear nights sometimes that bring a lot of frost with it.

Never seen the frost form like that before anyway.

No I forgot to get a shot of the whole roof annoyingly!

I was in a rush to get in the car and get going to work so totally didn't think.

Ah well. Looks pretty impressive I think.

Wondered who the hell this 'Tamoose' person was commenting on the thread then! Until i saw your sig! lol

It isn't zoomed in at all. I was just resting the camera on the roof and it's just very close!

Yeh I should have got a wider shot.

The only reference point I can think of is in the second picture you can see the ridge that runs along the roof. I could get a wide shot of the roof you would have a better idea of the scale of it.

Nice! I had the kind of beading on the Mazda this morning that I didn't really want.... Not sure how cold it got last night, but "enough"

Hi there, my rear box has finally given up the ghost so I'm looking for a half decent replacement. I don't want to fork out for a genuine OEM one as the seem quite pricey. In the past I've bought exhaust parts from a manufacturer beginning with a K and found them to be really poor. A mate of my son works in their technical department and he says he wouldn't use them. So if anyone has any suggestions of makes and suppliers they've found to be good quality I'd love to know. Thanks in advance.

Have a listen to the audio & share your thoughts. I've replaced both wishbones & anti role bars a couple of months ago. This rattle started about a week ago & is progressively getting worse. The right hand tyres is wearing on the edges, both inside & outside. Turning the teering wheel on a flat road doesn't create the sound. Only when driving over drains or potholes. I've had on ramps and had the wheel off. I can't see anything obvious Skoda front suspension rattle.mp3

Hi. I got a xenon light that last week startet to act up with flickering. So I read here and understood and got confirmed that is the first on a path to have to change the xenon bulbs. My process was the following: Flickering right xeon light Turned off the lights a few days, then one day turned off and they both were dead, no life at all on auto at least. changed both left and right xenon. Surpriced how easy it was. The lights still dead after changed both to philips D3D bulbs. The ifht xen

Hi guys My Octavia 2 FL makes rattling noise on rough asphalt, exposed stones, small cracks. Brakes, system ATE, disc 280mm, pads Febi 16328. When I press brake pedal quiet. When release rattling comes back. I even replaced one rubber sleeve. New Febi sleeve is more loose than orginal ATE Skoda OEM sleeve. I replaced guide pins for brand new ATE. MOT in March nothing in suspension. I know sway bar link clattering noise. I think left side is louder than right or it is noise from left wheel. Any

Hi Everyone, I have a Factory fitted electric Tow bar. Last time I use, it was 5 years ago I believe. I tried to use it Today no chance not releasing. It has a green light always but whenever I pull it out light changes to red blinking and tow bar is not releasing. I used some wd-40 and rust cleaner but still result didn't' change. I also tried to pull out the tow bar with bare hand or hit the mechanism with a wood or hammer(kindly), still no chance. Anyone faced the same issue?
