I finally got delivery of my brand new Skoda Octavia 170 CR Diesel VRS.

what can I say, well impressed

Two things, what bother me slightly, front wheels spin for fun when road get only slightly wet

No lock on glove compartment

Apart from that love it, I believe i am the only white vrs owner in the country so far, so I have been getting lots of admiring looks

Go out and get one, its fantastic

What car did you come from? Over the coming days you'll learn to adjust your driving style to stop the wheels spinning everytime, although the temptation to boot it is always there! Also don't think I've ever had a locking glove compartment in a car. Oh and those admiring looks, just people thinking you are the fuzz.

use to have a passat diesel before, that was spin happy aswell, probably got something to do with my right lead foot !!

or8 mate the best place to look for meets is in the meetings and events section, yorkshire does not have that many meets tbh i go to the east mids meets mainly. but there is a lincoln meet on 13th december at the pride of lincoln pub postcode is ln6 3qz. its a big vag meet.

I have silver CR170 due on 1 April 10 (first Skoda).

Saw white one as scrutineer car on Rally of Scotland - almost made me change my order it looked soooooo good (as long as clean).
