After such a brill iant response to my last query, here's another I couldn't answer from the current owner of my Octy Elegance DSG five-door hatchback (54 plate):

Where is the switch that operates the lamps in the boot space? - it needs a clean but I can't seem to find it!

If it's the same as the Mk1, it will be built into the boot latch and you will need to remove the trim inside the hatch to access it. don't know if it is possible to clean it though as it is most likely a microswitch.

That's a big slab of trim!

Is the procedure to remove the rubber dangly closing handle, then gently lever the trim off, or is there something else to do, please?
