Hey guys..

When I first start the car, and press lightly on the gas - the revs actually drop to about 700, but then go up as they should.

This will only happen once (Although sometimes I idle at around 900)

Earlier today, I stopped for traffic lights.. And went to move off, but the revs dropped to about 500 and sputtered - but no stall..

Any clue with what this is?

As long as the car starts and drives, I'm happy - But just looking to shed some light on this

(2000 1.4 8V Fabia)

Probably needs a throttle body clean, but a code scan may show up something else, like EGR flow, or mass air flow meter.
