Latest Scout Spec

Featured Replies

Does anyone have the latest full spec details for the new Scout?

Usually manufacturers produce a full list of all items available on a vehicle and they are marked as present (or not) against the model of vehicle, ie, S, SE, Sport etc.

I cannot for the life of me find a full detailed spec list showing everything for the Scout. I have checked both the new and old websites as well as the microsite. Even the dealers don't have anything...mind you, I do live in Cornwall!

Any help greatly appreciated.

Mike

Get a brochure.

Everything is 'additive' against the SE model, which is additive against the S etc. etc.

The brochure doesn't contain all of the detail. Just a few nice pics. The dealerships are useless and don't have the info.

Thanks for the links to the documentation on the new site but, as mentioned in my original post, read it and the detail isn't there!

Oh yeah... there is only one variant of the Scout. There is no 'S', 'SE' or 'Sport' version.

Maybe someone can answer the specific questions...

Does the 09 version come with Bluetooth as standard on the UK model? The 2007 model doesn't but the '07 European version did.

Does the 09 version have auto dimming wing mirrors as standard?

Does anyone actually have the full spec???

I have a scout, I know they dont come in S SE etc.

But the brochure clearly states:

Scout: Standard Equipment over 4x4

4x4: Standard equipment over SE

SE: Standard equipment over S

S: This is your base equipment list.

Its not rocket surgery.

If you want it to be why not cut out the spec parts for the S, SE, 4x4 and Scout and make a nice collage?

OK, here's a cut a paste job from the brochure. I've marked which level each item comes from and think I've got rid of all the overlaps:

I am not sure mine has Mudflaps, and the Scout gets an Aluminium sump guard (i.e. Aluminium design undertrays front and rear (Scout)) - not to be mistaken for the Silver bits at the bottom of the bumpers - which is just plastic.

Not sure what "Interior light with door pillar switches" is.....

Aside from that it looks a comprehensive list to me.
