Apple/iTunes expert needed!

Featured Replies

Is there anybody on here who can help me.

I have a Macbook and i'm having a problem with iTunes download.I have tried putting a Digital copy of a movie (that you get with Blu-ray box sets) though iTunes but get stuck at the same point all the time.

I put the movie in and go though the procedure of putting the code in,the download starts, but then i get 'error -61' code and it won't download.

The code is correct and put it will not download from itunes.

This only happens on my Macbook as i tried the same movie on my laptop and it worked 1st time.

Throw away the Macbook, job done :)

Only after i have sorted this problem out.

Have you logged into iTunes on the MacBook otherwise it won't download.

Other than that are you trying to download to an External HDD attached to the MB or direct to the HDD

If you have downloaded it onto your other laptop that may also be the reason why. You should be able to drag that from the laptops itunes onto external HDD or Flash drive and then load into your MB

I'd go with that. I doubt they'll let you download multiple copies of a Movie. If you dowloaded via iTunes on your laptop then it probably thinks the Macbook is someone elses computer trying to re-use your code. Have both computers been 'authorised' with your iTunes account? That may help?

if this is the disk that has "DIGITAL COPY" written on it, then the file is DRM protected using a Microsoft based system. Unless Itunes can correctly handle Playforsure encrypted files then its not possible to transfer the file into itunes. Also as mentioned the code is single use, ie. you can use it on one computer only. That is why the code is present in the first place, its to stop you then lending the dvd and code to a mate and them doing the same. If you have already put this code into a different computer then it will not work again.

You can only download something once from iTunes - you have to log a request with them if you need to download something again for whatever reason emoticon-0120-doh.gif
