Windscreen problem and many more

Featured Replies

Hi Guys

Sorry for bothering you guys again, but my car is annoying me alot this morning i got in to the car the windscreen was dripping with water inside the car, and also my carpets soaking wet rear and front.

I know why the carpets are wet cos my doors are leaking but why was my windscreen dripping wet, and its just the windscreen

I am thinking selling it, it is ****ing me off, i have spent £1500 on it, had major service, cambelt, all the wheel bearing, most bushes, all the brakes pads and discs and now more problems

thanks

its condensation caused by the wet carpets, so get you doors sealed up, the carpets and underfelt dried, then you should be ok

and no need to get rid of the car

thanks for quick reply, the condensation wont effeact any thing else. cos i cant get my door sealed up this week cos i am working.

so will it be alright for another week

thanks

Can understand your frustration (believe me), but all the parts you listed are pretty much general wear items you'll get on all cars of a certain age/mileage

Longer you leave it with damp carpets the more musky it may start to smell... Might be an idea to remove the mats if you haven't and try and put something down to help absorb the moisture?

I remember having some little box thing to collect moisture at some point to help with damp... might help

Next week i am going to rip the carpet out and seal all the doors, and give seats good clean

Thanks for the help guys, i thought my windscreen was leaking
