Great Start To The New Year!

Featured Replies

Got a call from the missus at 6.00am this morning (New Years Day!) to say the car has come up with a warning light.

I then scrape her car down and drive 20 mins to where it happened so we can swap and she carries onto work.

Basically the Glow Plug warning light came on (Octavia vRS CR TDI).

She called the AA out (as shes a member), I had taken over by then, and they did the usual scanning etc.

Injector 1 Failure (or something like that) Fault Code: P0201

Started the car after these scans and it was fine. Drove the 10 miles home with him following and it didn't miss a beat?!

So now I'm left with getting it to Skoda at the next opportunity which no doubt will be on Monday when I'm due back at work!

Well it's being fixed now.

Loose wire going to the injector apparently! Shame I can't get back to the dealer as I'm snowed in with the courtesy car!
