Hi Ya

I have an Octavia elegance 2003 1.9tdi estate. The digital display that shows mileage on the right of speedometer and the computer generated display showing temperature, miles, mpg etc on the left of speedo have stopped working. They look as though the battery has gone on a digital watch. Any help please? The second problem is that my rear passenger door will not unlike with the other doors. If I sit and try to open it, the lock lifts a little but will not open the door. My friend seems to think the vacuum has gone, whatever that means. Any Help would be much appreciated.
