Which Tyres?

Featured Replies

Hi all at Briskoda. I have had continental sport contact 2 tyres on since new and my 2nd set of fronts are worn down after 16000 miles. the 1st set of fronts did 18000 miles. Which tyres are best for wear, fuel economy and road noise??? I have an Octavia Estate 2.0 TDI. i don't drive mad anymore so performance isn't really an issue. Do you have any suggestions??? Cheers

Try Vredstein Unltrac Cento. They are the latest offering from this Dutch company and loads fellow owners on this forum swear by them.(as well as myself)

I've heard very good reports about these tyres too, may well be fitted when I need new rubber, although its unlikely to go on my octy :-(

I only managed 14000 miles out of Bridgetone Turanza tyres and don't drive fast - I have got a new Octavia 2 and it is is Continental so hope to get better mileage - Hope this info is of use to you from corrieman

Had 30k from Michelin Pilot Primacy on the Octavia, and 30k from the Primacy HP's on the works Mondeo. Rears on both still going (approx 4mm left), with both cars around 34k.

Vredestein Sportrac 3's on my Octavia and Vredestein Hitracs on the Fabia - both excellent!
