14" Steel Wheels and Snow Tyres

Featured Replies

Hi, I was wondering if 14" wheels would fit on a Fabia II, mine has 15" alloys but i have some 14" steel wheels in the garage from an old MKI model and am seriously considering fitting winter tyres to them and putting them on the car from November to March given that every winter may be like this. If anyone could give me advice it would be much appreciated.

I recently purchased a set of steel wheels from skoda at only £40 a wheel. The were helpfull in making sure that i had the corect sizing etc. Make sure that if you are changing the wheel radius that you also then change the depth of the tyre.

Thanks for the quick reply, the 15" have 195/55 R15 H tyres on and I think the equivilant rolling radius of the 14" is 185/65. I just dont know if they will fit over the front brakes and leave enough ventilation.

You may find this site handy to help you to work out equivilent wheel sizes:
