On a 2008 Octy Estate L+K what can be done with VAAG COm?

Can DRL, AFS etc be turned on?

No - cause I havent got a cable or software yet. I wanted to know what could be done so that I could then either make the decision to buy or go and find someone locally with a cable and software to get the changes done.

I'm not aware of anyone having created a detailed list of changes that can be done to the Octavia II. That being said, my suggestion to you is that you contact someone on the forum who owns a genuine HEX+CAN interface and ask them if they would be willing to come have a play on your car. I beleive that much of the coding you would want to do is supported by the long coding function in VCDS and that function will show the options that can be changed. With it, you should be able to decided what to try and what not to try.

AFS lighting in only on the facelift. Not sure what DLR is, but guessing either you dont have it or this is a facelift only option.

DLR = DayLight Running Lights, which can be turned on in various modes on the Octy II

As you've got an L&K you may have maxidot and somethings can be tinkered with in there - I'm not sure, just posing the question!

However these things are some of what should be able to be done with VCDS.

1. Cornering fog lights

2. Tear drop wipe on front & rear screens

3. Anti hijack locking

4. Drivers or all doors unlocking

5. Both rear fog lights enabling

6. Coming home/leaving home lights

7. Passenger ejector seat - only available as a very limited order!

I'm sure thats not everything & someone else will add to the list
