I noticed that heated rear seats are an option on the Octavia L&K so I have a few questions...

1/ Does anybody know if the heating elements can be retro-fitted to a VRS Leather bench (I presume the back seats in the L&K & VRS are the same)?

2/ Could someone with an L&K with heated rear seats tell me how they are activated...is it a separate button or does it come on with either of the front seats.

3/ I'm presuming that the Canbus wiring means that an outlet is available to power the rear elements...am I right, and if so do I need obtain any special plugs?

The rear seat heater controls are fitted on the panel at the rear of jumbo box - can't say about whether the wiring is existing in a non equipped car.

I saw, in a recent copy of AutoExpress (I think) a heated seat kit with (I think) kevlar heater panels.

My only thought would be that for thew potential use they would get, it might be an expensive retrofit.

I was hoping that Skoda may have the part number for the L&K Octavia rear seat heater element....it must be repairable surely?!
