VRS OIL LEAK

Featured Replies

Hi my wife took my octavia vrs mk1 for an mot today,it passed no problem. But the mot examiner drew her attention to an oil leak which is coming from a pipe up by the turbo with 2 copper things on it(if that makes sense)i havnt seen it so im hoping someone can shed some light and tell me if its serious as i dont want to get under it in this weather many thanks in advance.

If it's a boost pipe, slight oil seepage is normal. If it's the turbo oil line, get it replaced quickly, or boom.

ive phoned MOT station and he says its the turbo oil feed pipe which comes from the block,is this easy to change? where can i get one? part number? many thanks.

you may only need the 2 washers on the pipe rather than the whole thing.....get it changed very quick
