Can anybody suggest if there is a place (more or less near London) where I can buy a set of winter tyres with rims, fit them, and store my summer set (and then winter one)? It's more or less common service in other countries where everybody change tyres every year, but I couldn't find anything similar in UK (searching on the web).

Wheels seem in short supply. I ordered from Black Circle. Fitted locally. Tyre fitters gave me old tyres back to refit at Easter.

Just got my Nokian tyres delivered from mytyres.co.uk was going to fit them tonight but it is minus 10 outside and minus 2 in the garage (built into the house!)

mytyres can supply tyres and rims as a package for most makes of car My link.

Storage is a bit more tricky in this country, I take it you don't have a garage. If you regularly use a particular dealer you might be able to persuade them to store the wheels for a small fee as some European dealers do.

My little lock up costs around £600 a year. Cheaper to buy a set of wheels and tyres and throw them away!!

Have you tired http://www.etyres.co.uk i always use them and they are brilliant.

I tried my wheel size + 16" wheels as well and NO Winter Tyres appear, tried going into the More Tyres option & it just leads you back to the homepage, even if you go to car specific pages it's hopelessly out of date.

I for one won't be using them, because if they can't do a simple thing like keeping the site up to date or get it to offer the correct products then it's not a company that I'd want to do business with.
