Hi guys can any one tell me how I remove the rear speakers from my 53 Octavia combi? And what size they are?

They're either 5x3" or 6x4" - can't remember!

Getting to them involves dropping the rear seats then removing the whole side panel from the boot - bit of a mission.

Most who have upgraded have replaced the fronts with a decent set and maybe installed an amp - that's what I've done. I also have a small 6" Apline sub in the boot. My rear speakers are disconnected.

Speakers in mine are 6x4. As stated, a complete arse to get at. Took me all morning to change to some quite high spec ones. In my opinion the difference in sound quality wasn't worth the effort or cost.
