When I got home some ten miles and 1500 feet higher in altitude the temp had dropped to only 40C. The forecast over night low tonight is 29C and no we do not have air conditioning at home.

Thats the way, rub it in.

The cold snap in the south of the UK is due to end later this week, and by Friday they say we could reach the giddy heights of 6c.

Ive been stuck twice in horrendous snow again this morning.

Made it JUST!!

Thanks for the picture :dull:

I have been in 40 degrees Celsius twice. Even if hell freezes over, I prefer the cold.

Jesus! That's far too hot!

What humidity? that's the killer.

I think we're getting used to the cold. I was digging snow at -2C in my tee-shirt on Sat. +2.5C this morning felt positively warm.

Here in Melbourne it's around 19-20%

the mine i work down , there was one area that was 46c and we did 9 1/2 hr shifts in it !

then ride out in winter to these temperatures, talk about body shock!

Hehe I would much prefer the 2 degrees here now than 45 - that is just obscene! Now I feel sorry for you! hehe! :D

Ouch. That's guaranteed to get a visit from Betty
