Amazing what you can do with some scissors and some insulating tape.

Hope you guys like how I've modded my mod...

Well... Everybodys got one now. hehe

Another couple of pics, including one of the rear.

It was fiddly getting it just right but only really took me about 15 mins to get it spot on.

The rear is untidy but overlapping each bit of tape was a sod.

It was more tricky cutting out infill pieces to stick face down so

it wouldn't be sticky in the dips if you catch my drift... Its going in tomorrow...

Its funny you should say that.... I couldn't put my hands on some black tape yesterday so the white square

in the third pic on the rear is actually a small square of plastic cut from the health warning bit printed on a pouch of golden

virginia.... Thats why it is black on one side and white on the other

If I'm feeling uber creative today I may try and drop some clear lacquer into the coloured areas to seal them in

if you see what I mean...

I must confesss that I used different fixings to the ones supplied.

This is no reflection on the quality of the ones supplied. They are clearly top spec

stainless allen bolts. I just had a few lying around in the shed that I preferred the look of..

Mind you thats the whole point of modding in the first place, ito make things your own IMO

Don't worry, your fixings will be going in me box for use another day...hehe.

May I also make a suggestion. You would probably sell these by the bucket load on here if you did them

with the same V logo thats on the seats/gearknob etc already in the furby VRS. I know I'd buy another...

And I reckon there are purists out there that only didn't buy one this time for that reason.

All in all a nice little product you have there gulf... Thanks again from me and hopefully I speak on behalf of all others who

The logo used is the one a VRS Fabia owner asked for last year.Its the same as the Octy one I used.. I did,nt know it was different.. :wonder:

This is the Fabia VRS V.

Its on the seats, gearknob, mats, doorsills and front grille.

I think I'm right in saying that all Furby VRSs have this variant of V logo.

People often change their exterior badging but the interior is a bit more difficult

to co-ordinate without big expense having the seats re-trimmed and replacing the gearknob etc.

The pukka design would probably be easier to cut as well I'd imagine....

I'll call dibs on a test pressing if you fancy trying out a prototype...

I'd take some nice pics for your ebay shop and on here....

How did you remove the foot rest. i noticed there seems to be a catch at the top of the rest. Is it a simple screw driver job or will i need one of those special torx (sp) type efforts

Any help would be great, planning on fitting tomorrow morning

Hi Matt, all you need is a 10mm socket or ring spanner to undo the PLASTIC bolt at the top of

the footrest... Then gently tilt the footrest toward you and you will see it hooks into a hole in the floor

behind it...

Earlier in this thread there are some tips regarding the accurate drilling of holes. I would just say that

you should drill one hole first and loosely fasten the cover to the footrest to hold the cover still while

you mark where the other two holes will be. Then move the footplate aside while you drill the other holes.

Move back into place and then fasten the other two fixings firmly and then fully ighten up the first.

Now you can pop it back in...All pimped up like a mutha....

When the footrest plate is fitted you may find it a little tricky re-hooking it back into the hole as the

bottom fixing for the cover will come through quite near the hook and tmay need a little jiggling to get it back in.

I took a couple of attempts... But just be patient. Don't over tighten the nut when you replace it. Remember... Its only plastic....

Thats it.... Job done... Your footwell is fully blinged up.... Hardcore....
