Detailing pics of my '03 Boxster S

Featured Replies

Back in November I had a front end respray and full exterior detail on my Boxster, it needs to go back soon now that the paint has fully gone off for the front end flatting and re-detailing and I will also be having the interior detailed.

Anyway here's a link to the photo's: detail pics

Very nice Eddie, I do miss my old Boxster S, but what I dont miss is the running costs.

The old 986 looks really good with the newer style 987 wheels.

Thanks. Fuel economy isn't really a problem as I do alot less miles than I used to, servicing wise I have an excellent Porsche specialist ten minutes away and so far the costs seem very reasonable. I imagine though servicing one using official porsche centres would be very expensive though.

Very nice motor that mate, bit of a change from the A8?

Nice finish there and looks the part now, some nice buffer trials on there originally..........

Thanks. The S8 was sold to a dismantler and was replaced with a new shape A6 Avant, however a change of job to a building next door to my wife meant car sharing and doing alot less miles. The A6 also proved quite cumbersome to park so we somehow came to the conclusion that a Boxster S fit are requirements which 90% of the time it does.
