Our Fabia 04 VRS has recently passed its MOT with flying colours!!!!!!!

However, since the snow and horrible cold weather, we have noticed that the INSP message comes up where the mileage normally is, along with a picture of a small screw driver.

What does this mean?

Could it be something to do with the weather and will it possible disappear once the air temperature warms up?

It means you're due a service

Time to go and get the car serviced, or if it was serviced at the MOT, time to get it checked and if all ok, get the service indicator set correctly

As above, it needs a service soon.

If you had a service with the MOT, you can reset it yourself. The procedure is in the Owners Manual, If you don't have one you can download it from one of the sticky threads, or you can do a search on here about Service reset.

give the guy a break - as this info is not in my handbook i got with the car, i have always had to use the downloadable one on here.
