cd changer cartrigdes/magazines

Featured Replies

Looking for a new 6 cd cartridge for my cd auto changer since the old one is missing. The changer has no manufacturers brand name but its attached to a Skoda Symphony HU. I have been quoted 36.43 + VAT for one by Skoda which I think is bloody absurd for a piece of moulded plastic. I was wondering if anyone has an old faulty cd changer and is willing to part with the cartridge (for a small fee of course). Or, does any one know who manufactured the autochanger so I can try an ICE specialist for a better price.

Vagparts sell them for

Panasonic manufacture the oem chnager iirc

does anyone know how much the a replacment cable is? the one that connects the HU to the Changer ?

i really cannot be arsed to take out the cable but have a HU and changer i want to sell

Thanks for the info. 28 quid is soooo much better than the forty Skoda want. I'd better not do a search for VAG parts at work though.

Thanks to a thread on here I replaced my front speakers for some old JBL's I had knocking around. What a difference! It felt like I'd had my ears syringed. I'd highly recommend that every Octavia owner does the same.

 much appreciated.

I have to say that
