Mk1 octavia yesterday had a problem with the wipers they wouldent turn off that then cured itself

now the central locking is acting up on trying to open the drivers door with the fob it opened then immediately locked again this happens every time it is operated also the same using the key the only way to get in the car is to open the boot lid as the fob unlocks it open the drivers door shut the boot then the doors lock im suspecting it may be damp or something in the boot lid lock am i fishing in the right spot cheers
