Rattle next to my ear

Featured Replies

Hi

I drive a left hand driven Skoda Fabia 1.4 TDI Elegance -08. Just bought it, still under warranty but I'm not sure if rattles are covered.

Anyway, when I drive over uneven surfaces I hear a loud rattle coming from somewhere in the area of the top of the B-pillar, maybe even

from the rear doors or the seat belt adjuster mechanism.

Have anyone experienced this and perhaps have a remedy for it?

Thanks

Not a fabia 2 owner, but if it is enough to annoy you then it will be under warranty

I just realised that when I push on the inner seal of the door (I think it's the seal) the noise stops. Maybe a faulty seal? Better bring out the good old silicone spray and have a try tomorrow.

The Fabia II seems to suffer a few little rattles, something my wifes Pug 107 doesnt have, nor my previous Fiat. I thought Skodas were well made too?
