V reg with 40k miles or 01 reg with 80k?

Featured Replies

As per subject I'm going to view two cars today and need some opinions please,

first is an SLX with 40,000 miles on the clock, part service hostory, V reg. AGU engine, no T/C

second is an elegance with 80,000 miles, one company owner, full skoda history on an 01 plate. Later engine with T/C etc.

Which would you choose?

darn! the 01 has sold to someone else :( going to view the other this afternoon though I'm not too keen, apparently SLX's dont even have front fogs ?

My Slx has front fogs, heated leather, etc

perhaps the front fogs are part of the winter pack?

The front fog lights on the vRS are integrated into the main headlights, may be this is also the case for all Octavias. I am sure one of the regulars can confirm.

Pretty sure all the front fog lights on the Ocys are integrated into the headlights.

Either way, I wouldn't let them make or break a deal!

Rob.
