New Fabia vRS inbound in March

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I've just ordered a Fabia vRS for delivery on Mar 01. (and desperately regretting not saying ' just get the bloody thing here as soon as you can....')

I visited this site a couple of weeks ago for a bit of advice and to sniff out the best spec etc. I've gone for Black with Zenons, side bags and cruise. Don't know what the consensus is on that but the colour is kicking (looks like a bitch to keep clean though!) and the extra gadgets are all something that I will use. I had my first test drive about a week ago and I had a massive grin on my face. I have been trying to find a car for ages that will fit my criteria, and was struggling to get a tick in every box:

No particular order:

Economical >50MPG

Good looking

Quick (not neccessarily fast!)

Good handling

smooth ride

good residuals

reasonable insurance

small hatchback size

Top build quality(had thought German)

Sub

Just over 3 months to go now.

Just over 3 months to go now.

Yup my dealer told me there is a 2month wait so to make sure with the 2 weeks off for Christmas, I banged the order in early. Apparently, the car will be built in week 1 of 2005.

AAAAARGGGGHH. Can't wait!

Think you will find the car worth the wait.

Getting a black car in March seems a good idea as road salt should have gone from the roads by then ;)

You could , to keep a flavour of the car, visit a different dealer each month & ask for a test drive, till yours arrives :)

March! You must be very patient. No way I could order a car and wait 4-5 months!

After reading this post its just reminded me. I ordered my furby this time last year. I also got it in march.
