Another Wheel Questions

Featured Replies

Hi folks,

I've been looking at getting some steel wheels after the fun and games of the last few weeks. /i have found some that are advertised as:

15'' 91H 195 65 5 stud.

Will these be compatible with my 59 vRS?

Cheers,

Steve

Oh bugger, they were a good deal, and local too!

Thanks for the reply

This maybe the wrong car, but right tyre/wheel combination.

Perhaps one of the resident tyre & wheel experts might be able to confirm this.

Doesn't say if they are 6J's but the rest of the figures suggest the are, should fit Octavia II and the tyre is the correct size, rating and index.

Spot on. Even if they are 6.5j.

Octavia II version. £ 497.20 delivered.

One final question on the subject of these, if I've currently got 17" Pallas wheels on & I change them for 16" Steels + Nokian WR G2's how much out will the speedo be?

Ta.

Just a thought but have you asked your Skoda dealer for a quote?

I just bought a steel wheel with (normal) tyre fitted to the wheel from my local dealer for £108 (not discounted). Looking at the price of the winter tyres on the website quoted in the earlier post I reckon the dealer would charge £114 for winter tyres making £456 in total. And on past experience I would expect (and get) a discount off for an order that size. My dealer also supplied the wheel and tyre and wheel the day after ordering.

Chosen tyre make would make a lot of difference to the price of course.
