Fabia VRS Remap

Featured Replies

Hi All,

New to the forum, so hi! and probably this will be a very newbie question. I'm in the process of buying an 07 Fabia VRS and am looking to get an ecu remap done pretty much straight away. I know about the revo route but was wondering what the alternatives were, I've done a couple of searches on here and on google but am confused. Any help would be much appreciated. Looking forward to the VRS but will be sad to see the CTR go :(

Cheers

Alan

Welcome to the forum Alan.

We have 20% off for all maps booked in January, which makes the Fabia vRS map staggeringly good value at £220.

We have a fair bit of good press if you do a search around, just let me know if you'd like to book in :) We're in Mansfield.

Cheers!

I too travelled to Performance Torque in Wolverhampton (from Glasgow  ) and am more than pleased with the results and the service. Granted it wasn't on a vRS, but close enough

Thanks for your responses Will be in contact with the tuners above to discuss results, and booking in hopefully. So is there any preference over the available remaps? Any favourites on the forum? I've read a bit about addition turbo and clutch wear & tear . Just how much wear and tear? Should I be worried on an 07 plate with 23k on clock?

Not really. As long as you let the turbo warm up before hitting boost, and let it cool down after a spirited drive. Dont boot it below 2k. You shouldn't have any problems.

If you go to the performance tuning and parts section on the forums and have a gander.

Shark performance who commented above are also faves on here. Nice bunch of guys too, met them at autosport show on Sat. Good luck anyhow, i'm sure you are going to miss the howl of the VTEC.

Cheers, have PM'd Shark and the others, however the shark ECU control intrests me too so lets see what comes back. Good to know there's more out there than Revo. Yes will miss the Howl but this is my 3rd CTR, time for a change :). Looking forward to this. Bit dubious having ordered from dealer without test driving but sure it'll be fine haha

Haha, if you werent so far away, i'll take you out in mine.

I'm sure it will be spot on. What colour is it by the way?

It's black, was looking for the blue limited edition one but there were none local, black is surely the fastest colour though haha. Still have to travel 60 mile for this one, good price low milage so happy :)

lol, everyone knows that red is the fastest. Good choice anyway pal.

I got mine done in awesome gti last week and its so smooth map and the service there is excellent

I would recommend them to anyone!!! And the can produce good performance gain!!

If you're in bradford and you don't want to travel don't look any further than RS tuning in Leeds.

I would recommend Mr Washbrook though www.oscarli.com for the best mapping available. :)

I'm pretty sure the OP went to Awesome in the end for the map??

I agree though, Mr Washbrook knows his stuff ;)
