Airbag warning light on

Featured Replies

could anyone offer any advice.

today the airbag warning light came on and stayed on.

spoke to a taxi guy who as had several superbs and

suggested it may be headlight bulbs or brake light or sensors?

When the brake lights (or the switch) fail they usually put on the glow plug light.

The only way to say for sure is to get a VCDS scan done (this will pinpoint which airbag has the fault) it may well be one of the plugs under the seat, either way you need VCDS to turn the light off again as the airbag light will not go out on it's own once the fault has been rectified.
