hi all, couple of question i would like to ask!!

can you buy a decat pipe straight off a shelf?

would it make a difference if i only kept the standard exhuast system?

jabba sell a decat as do a few of the other tuners like AMD or Awesome (i think).

with the rest of the system standard you wont notice as good a gain as with a free flowing system but i would expect to see some increases as the cat is the most restrictive part of the system.

i dont know of any decat pipes (where a straight pipe replaces the cat) only "sports" cats i.e. 100cel units.

The difficulty here is tha tthe dp and cat are a single piece.....that said if you know an exhaust specialist they could probably cut the cat out and put in a sleeve for you.

You will have the CEL light problem though.

As Nigel said a few companies do a dp and 100 cel cat....a few do a dp on if own...H&S and Supersprint, I believe.

You should feel a little more torque but perhaps not as much if you fit and fit freer flow system. More noise I guess though.
